In our previous careers, we took quite different paths, each of which prepared us in unique ways for the world of house and pet sitting. Julie was a school bursar, managing budgets and coordinating administrative functions with precision and care. Jonathan, on the other hand, wore many hats, managing multi-million-pound leisure centers, operating a swimming school, working as a holiday property manager, and even teaching in schools. Together, we built a skill set that has proven invaluable in our current role as full-time pet sitters.

For the past 15 years, we have also run an online business, which allows us the flexibility to work from anywhere with an internet connection. This setup has afforded us the freedom to commit to full-time pet and house sitting, a lifestyle we feel incredibly privileged to lead. This flexibility means we’re available for pet-sitting assignments of all lengths, from brief weekend stays to extended vacations, providing consistent and personalised care for animals in their own homes. It’s our aim to give pets a sense of holiday fun while keeping them comfortable in familiar surroundings.

With over seven years of dedicated experience, we’ve travelled extensively, providing reliable pet care across the UK and even venturing as far as the United States, Australia, and New Zealand. We’re comfortable and experienced with animals of all kinds, from the smallest of kittens and puppies to large dog breeds, horses, and small farm animals. We strive to be a friendly, reliable, and relaxed presence for the animals we care for, ensuring they feel at ease and get all the attention they need to feel happy and secure in their owners’ absence. We treat every pet as if they were our own, paying close attention to their routines, habits, and quirks, so they feel truly loved and special.
